Since its inception in 1991, the Latino Economic Development Center (LEDC) has equipped Latinos and other underserved communities in the DC-MD-VA region and Puerto Rico with the skills and financial tools to create a better future for their families and communities. LEDC’s mission is to support and welcome individuals from all backgrounds and ways of life, believing that the communities they serve are stronger when all families have the power to achieve financial independence and join together to improve their communities.
Like many organizations, LEDC was forced to close its office in March 2020 and move to a virtual work environment. Transitioning from a traditional workplace to a remote workplace presented operational challenges. To continue working during the COVID pandemic, LEDC needed to ensure that all employees had the tools to succeed no matter where they were working.
